“During my OBGYN residency at Akron General Medical Center, I spent time on a rotation of Reproductive Endocrinology and infertility, where I had the opportunity to observe a couple's first obstetrical ultrasound after successful fertility treatment. I will never forget the look in their eyes when they first heard their baby's heart beating. I immediately knew I wanted to devote my career to the field of REI. Since then, I have had the privilege to perform that ultrasound for many aspiring parents. It is an incredible journey to go through the struggles of infertility with couples and celebrate with them at their first OB appointment.”
I truly understand that fertility treatment can be anxiety provoking and emotionally draining. Working with my patients so that they better understand their obstacles and treatment options and helping them feel more at ease and confident that they and I are doing everything we can to achieve their goals is my number one priority. These treatments are very personal and should be tailored to each patient's situation.
